My plan for the coming year is to become less dependent on gear and equipment and up my bushcraft skills significantly. That doesn't mean I won't be adding to my prepping gear or inventory, but I will increase my focus on wilderness survival skills. Having a book of matches or lighter is nice, having and knowing how to effectively use a flint fire starter is a much more permanent solution. I don't expect the world to "reset" into wilderness or anything, but knowing how to survive in that environment, increases your personal effectiveness ten fold in todays world.
Its the dawn of a new year, and my plan is to take full advantage of every day.
